Body Style Configurations
The Ford F-150 offers customers in Defiance three cab sizes. There's the two-door Regular Cab, and there are the four-door SuperCab and slightly larger SuperCrew models. There are three bed sizes: a 5-foot-6-inch, a 6-foot-6-inch, and an 8-foot. The 5-foot-6-inch is available with SuperCrew and Raptor SuperCab models only, the 8-foot can be gotten with the Regular and SuperCab models, and the 6-foot-6-inch is available with all three cabs.
Performance
The standard engine on the Ford F-150 is a 290-horsepower 3.3-liter V6. This engine is okay for pulling travel trailers and small boats in the Wauseon area. However, to maximize towing ability at 12,100 lbs.one of the best numbers in the full-size pickup sector go with the 375-horsepower 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 on the XL trim with the Regular Cab body style and an 8-foot bed.
Other optional engines include a 325-horsepower 2.7-liter turbocharged V6, a 250-horsepower 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 for maximizing fuel economy, and a 395-horsepower 5.0-liter V8 that combines maximum power with high-level capability. There's a "high output" version of the 3.5-liter turbo V6 for an increase to 450 horsepower.
With the engine in the front, power is sent to the rear wheels for exceptional balance on any Napolean street. You can opt for a four-wheel-drive system to maximize performance on less-than-ideal terrain. Although a 6-speed automatic transmission is standard, a 10-speed automatic transmission goes with the optional engines for a much smoother driving experience.
Seating Accommodations
The Regular Cab has a single row of seats to accommodate up to three people. The SuperCab and SuperCrew each have two rows of seats to hold up to six. However, go with the SuperCrew if you want more space in the back to maximize comfortability during long trips throughout Delta.
